The app uses your smartphone’s location data to find where exactly you are or to find your exact location, while uses the bluetooth connectivity to find whether you have been approximately 6-feet within the area of the infected person or not. Based on the calculations, the app shows if you are at ‘high risk’ or ‘safe’. In case you are at ‘high risk’, then the app automatically advises you to go for a coronavirus test at your nearest testing centre or to call on toll-free number 1075 for more detailed information and guidelines.

The Aarogya Setu app also suggests you some tips on how you can prevent yourself from the corona’s infection. In Fact, this app even shares your data with the Indian government. In case, you are tested positive for coronavirus or have been in contact with an infected one. The safest part is that the government guarantees not to share any of your data with the third party.
The app provides you with a facility to ask any query about the coronavirus. Also, you can find out any other information about it, given you the medium known as the chatbot. It also provides you with all the helpline numbers for each state in India.
