As we all are well aware of the destruction caused by a coronavirus in the world. Even in India, till now the total no. Of cases is nearly about 5 lakhs with 2 lakhs of active cases and about 15000 deaths.
Amongst all the cities in India, Delhi is one of the cities with the most number of COVID 19 cases in the present time. With an increase in the number of cases every day and as a result the situation is going to get worse day by day.
In regard to this Delhi conducted the highest number of COVID 19 cases that it did before on Friday in a single day as said by the chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal. He also said Delhi is now following a very aggressive testing and isolation strategy and a massive survey will be conducted by authorities in order to determine the spread of COVID 19 disease.
The survey will probably be conducted between June 27 to July 10 in all the districts of Delhi in order to get a proper analysis of the coronavirus.
If we talk about numbers we can say that Delhi left behind Mumbai in terms of the total number of COVID 19 cases. It has been seen that the spread of viruses is very fast and Delhi is declared as a hotspot for coronavirus disease. Currently, Delhi has around 77 thousand cases with nearly about 2500 deaths.
The only way to stop the spread of the virus is to break the chain of transmission and that can be done only if patients with the disease are known. And that totally depends on the number of tests conducted.
So in order to stop coronavirus spreading more in Delhi, the aggressive testing strategy is being followed. And as a result, Delhi conducted almost 22 thousand( exact 21, 144) tests on Friday which is too much of what it used to be before per day.
Tests now also started to be conducted house to house by the authorities in order to check the report of each and every resident of Delhi.
# Aim Of Door To Door Testing
The basic aim is to identify the people with COVID 19 symptoms like fever, sore throat, and found people with some travel history and after that creating a report of them and sending their samples for testing.
